Morning Coffee

Over the last couple of years coffee has become something more important to me than I could have ever imagined. I had my second date with my husband in a coffee shop, my husband and I have quiet mornings over coffee, I met my best friend at the campus coffee shop we worked at when I was in college. At first coffee just seemed to be a wonderful beverage to cure my sleepiness, but coffee is quickly becoming a starting point for me to bond with people. Perhaps it’s the comfort that comes from a warm cup held in your hands that encourages bonding moments between two people. Or perhaps it is the cozy atmosphere of a coffee shop that allows people to open up to each other about their lives and experiences. Whatever the reason is, I’m grateful to share heart-warming moments over a cup of coffee. So, I want to give a special thank you to my mother-in-law for inviting me to coffee this morning; I look forward to sharing more coffee with you in the future.
